Bucky and The Blues Buckets

Patrick Green (Guitar)

Pat was born at a young age and always knew that he and music were one.  He received his first bass, a Fender, for his 10th birthday from his dad and fell in love.  He played the bass for about 2 or 3 years, learning as he played.  He decided that he needed to move up to a guitar.  He was failing in school, spending all of his time on music, and was told "pass=guitar".  He passed and got a Kramer!

He was playing a lot of Rock and Roll and some Blues at this time, but at 15 found "Soul" and "Funk".  He started playing some of his favorites from B.B. King, Albert King, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and the Mississippi Bluesmen Robert Johnson and Lightning Hopkins out and about with his dad.

Pat started singing lead a few years later and asked Keith to join him at a school talent show and the boys stole the finale!  They knew it was time to move on and get something real going.

A natural show man, (he plays behind his head!), Pat found a home at Dougherty's in Stafford along with Keith and Scott and Doc, playing the Blues of Marvin Gaye, Al Green and Joe Cocker.  Pat travels with his guitar and plays wherever he is - Wilmington, NC, Los Angeles, and even the streets of Berlin!

Pat has added songwriting to his list of talents. Pat is a pure Fender player.  His dad, Doc, bought him his first white Fender Stratocaster named Pegasus, in 2003.  His latest is a a blue Stratocaster 60's reissue called Daphne!
